How it all started...
Remembrance Church Fort Worth was started in 1972. Since then there have been several locations and the group has fluctuated over time. We are the only Seventh Day Baptist Church in North Texas, although we are starting several missions and church plants as available. Currently we are sponsoring a start-up group in Waco Texas, and have contacts with two other groups who have expressed interest.
Expanding the vision...
Remembrance is working to grow our ministry and serve the community. Our current membership commutes from as far as 100 miles one way each week. Others are fortunate enough to live more locally. As we grow, we are interested in sponsoring more Sabbath Keeping groups who wish to fellowship through The Seventh Day Baptist National Association.
Where we are headed...
This is still a fluid topic. We are constantly seeking the Lord's guidance and leadership as we make yearly plans and goals. We welcome anyone who is like minded to come join with us and help us follow God's leadership as we strive to make Remembrance a Church that honors God.
